Melissa Mikutel and Michael Mavrofrides will be married on June 27th, 2009 in Haverhill, MA at Holy Apostles Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church.

Stanley and Susan Mikutel of Pelham, N.H. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa S. Mikutel, to Michael A. Mavrofrides, son of Aristotle and Beverly Mavrofrides of Haverhill. Melissa is a graduate of Pelham High School and received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Keene State College. She recently received her master's degree from Cambridge College in elementary education and is pursuing a teaching career. Michael is a graduate of Haverhill High School and received his bachelor's degree from The George Washington University in physics and chemistry. He is a senior software developer in the automotive industry.

How We Met:
Melissa winked at me one day and we soon struck up a conversation that led to our first date at the Ninety-Nine. We then went to play miniature golf.

How We Got Engaged:
We were hiding a cache at the Wayside Inn (Melissa's favorite restuarant). When I got down on my knee to hide the cache, I pulled out the ring. I then told Melissa that I had something else for the cache, but that she might want to keep it. I then asked her to marry me. She said "Is this for real." When I said "Yep", she started to cry and became speechless. I then had to ask her if it was a yes, to which she replied "Yes!"
